RALEIGH, N.C. - Paragon Commercial Bank has hired Virginia G. Parker as the bank’s Market Development Officer. Parker will be responsible for the marketing, public relations and community relations efforts across the bank’s multi-state network of offices.
A long time Triangle resident, Parker brings a wealth of professional and community experience to this new bank position. She spent 14 years in sales and sales management with IBM and Xerox, focusing a majority of her efforts in the Raleigh area. Recently, she owned and operated her own consulting company, Inspire! Leadership Group.
A graduate of Meredith College in Raleigh, N.C., Parker has been involved in both local and statewide community efforts. She is currently serving as Chair-Elect for Wake Education Partnership as well as serving on the boards of Communities in Schools of North Carolina and the North Carolina Center for Women in Public Service. She is a member of Advisory Committee for the Women’s Healing Place and the Steering Committee for Friends of Wake County. She is a recent graduate of Leadership North Carolina and served on the county’s Blue Ribbon Committee.
