RALEIGH, NC - Paragon Commercial Bank, the first business-only bank in North Carolina, has named Billie J. Redmond of Raleigh to its board of directors.

Redmond is president of Coldwell Banker Commercial TradeMark Properties, Inc., which is a Raleigh-based property management, leasing and brokerage services company. She acquired a majority ownership of TradeMark Properties in 1994 and joined the national affiliation network of Coldwell Banker in 2003. Her company is the largest female-owned affiliate in the network and has been named one of the "Top 25 Women-owned Businesses in North Carolina.

An active member of the community, Redmond serves as chair of the board of directors of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and serves on several other boards including the Wake Education Partnership and the Kids'n Communities Foundation. A North Carolina native, she majored in business at UNC-Chapel Hill.
